With over 29 years of experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry, Ruhul Quddus Khan brings deep expertise in business transformation, operations, and leadership across diverse areas of Unilever’s value chain. Known for his strategic foresight, people-first leadership, and ability to translate complexity into agility, Ruhul has been instrumental in shaping Unilever Bangladesh’s journey toward growth, resilience, and digital excellence.

Ruhul joined Unilever Bangladesh in 1996 as a Management Trainee and has since held several pivotal leadership positions, including Head of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Director and Customer Experience and Logistics Head. Over nearly three decades, he has steered Unilever Bangladesh through complex transformations, crisis management, leading major factory capacity expansions, efficiency turnarounds, and digitalisation initiatives that have elevated Unilever Bangladesh Supply Chain to benchmark status within Unilever globally.
Ruhul holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, and brings a distinctive blend of analytical precision and human-centered leadership to his role. Since 1 November 2025, Ruhul has been serving as the CEO and Managing Director of Unilever Bangladesh, driving best-in-class performance with market-making, unmissably superior brands.
Over the years, Ruhul has garnered extensive experience across manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and enterprise transformation. His leadership has been marked by a relentless focus on operational excellence, innovation, and talent development, transforming supply chain functions into digitally integrated, future-fit engines of growth. He has led Unilever Bangladesh through periods of intense disruption, including the COVID-19 pandemic, foreign exchange volatility, and socio-political challenges, ensuring business continuity and market leadership, while putting employee safety first.
