Zinnia Huq joined the UCL Board in February 2023 and currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Finance Director of Unilever Bangladesh Limited (UBL). She joined UBL in 2019 as Head of Financial Controls and M&A, where she led the landmark acquisition of GlaxoSmithKline’s (GSK) Consumer Healthcare business. She became CFO in 2023 after leading performance management and supporting the Beauty & Wellbeing (B&W) and Personal Care business groups.

With over 20 years of experience in the FMCG and pharmaceuticals sectors, Zinnia has held leadership roles in financial reporting, strategic planning, governance, and regional supply chain finance. She previously served as the Finance Director at GSK Bangladesh and held regional finance roles at British American Tobacco.

Zinnia holds a Finance degree from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka. She is a Fellow Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA, UK) and a member of ICMA Bangladesh.

A strong advocate for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I), Zinnia actively promotes female leadership and was recognised with the Inspiring Women Award by Bangladesh Brand Forum in 2015. She is also passionate about travelling and exploring new cultures.
